TMX Finance is seeking a talented Web Developer to build and maintain various web properties. The successful candidate will work with other members of the Marketing Department to bring ideas into fruition. This person must be able to write high quality front-end code, implement effective and functional designs, and have in-depth knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•Work with Web Designers and other Marketing team members to implement pixel perfect user interfaces across numerous web properties (both traditional and mobile)
•Implement effective, user-friendly, and functional web designs
•Write high quality, SEO-focused front-end code, including HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript
•Make UI & UX decisions and establish usability into all web properties
•Stay on top of all new front-end web development technologies and integrate them with various TMX web properties to drive usability and efficiencies
•Ensure code is compatible will all supported web browsers and resolve issues

Qualifications/Requirements:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
•Ability to use scripting languages (PHP) as needed
•Deep understanding of web standards and best practices a must
•Experience with web browser specificities, cross-browser testing, and alternate stylesheets
•Strong knowledge of general web development techniques/concepts, such as: semantic markup, SEO techniques, xml sitemaps, robots.txt, and analytical tracking code
•Familiarity with developing APIs and HTTP posts
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•Strong ability in writing PHP code
•Familiarity with various Content Management Systems, including: WordPress, ExpressionEngine, Drupal, etc.
•In-depth understanding of various relational database management systems, including MySQL & SQL
•Experience with JavaScript manipulation
•Applied knowledge of HTML & CSS
•This position is located in Savannah, Georgia; qualified candidates must be willing to relocate
